DHS Says It Will Comb Through the Voting Logs for Illegal Voters
DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin recently went on Fox News and said this:
"After this election, we'll be gathering all the data. We'll be gathering the voting logs, and we'll be going through those and making sure that no illegals voted."
Later, he posted this to X: "If you vote illegally, we will find you."
I have no doubt illegal aliens voted in this and previous elections. That's never been the question. The question is how do you prevent it when states are complicit in this crime.
Democrats oppose sensible voting laws, like the SAVE America Act.
They oppose efforts to require documentary proof during the registration process that the person registering to vote is, in fact, an eligible American citizen.
And they strongly oppose voter ID laws.
The only reason anyone would do this is because they know they benefit from the shenanigans.
Leftists spew all sorts of ridiculous excuses for opposing this sensible legislation.
They claim minorities cannot get a photo ID. But this is absolutely preposterous — and it causes many minorities to roll their eyes at this absurd argument.
The left also wants you to think that requiring a photo ID to vote is a type of modern-day poll tax. But this is also pure silliness.
There is no reason they can't do what my state of Indiana does when it comes to voter ID. In fact, if you need an ID in my state, you can get a free picture ID specifically for voting.
They feign outrage over these things because they politically benefit from them.
I candidly don't know how big the voter fraud problem is, but I am quite comfortable concluding that it's worse than the media and Democrats act like it is. In fact, it's much worse.
Is it enough to make a significant impact on the results? That remains to be seen.
Of course, we'll never see it if blue states keep making up excuses for not sharing their voter rolls with the federal government. That's a legitimate exercise of federal authority, by the way, yet it is a power that the lovers of big government ostensibly oppose because it strikes at the heart of their election strategy.
Republicans got whooped in the midterms — and there are many reasons for that. I’m not suggesting voter fraud is the culprit.
But that doesn’t mean it isn’t a big problem in America.
And if the federal government is able to find those who voted illegally in this election, perhaps it's a silver lining of the midterms.

The One Thing I Disagreed With Charlie Kirk On
I have great admiration for the late, great Charlie Kirk.
In fact, I find myself agreeing with virtually everything he argued on college campuses.
Charlie was pro-life. I am, too.
But more specifically, I'm an abortion abolitionist.
What's the difference? Well, abortion abolitionists argue for the complete outlawing of abortion. No exceptions.
I think Charlie agreed with this, based upon what I’ve heard him say.
But abolitionists also believe it should be a crime for a mother to kill her baby. Charlie didn't want to draw that conclusion. The reason is that he said women had been lied to and they don't really understand what they’re doing when they agree to have an abortion.
While I do agree that women have been lied to, I also believe that killing an unborn child is absolutely murder. And murder is evil, especially when the victim is a completely innocent and defenseless child.
On top of that, for that crime to be committed by the one person who should protect and nurture that child like no one else makes it even more atrocious.
There is no need for abortions to save the life of the mother. Arguing otherwise is disingenuous and designed to cause well-meaning people to excuse the horrors of abortion.
If the mother's life is in jeopardy, doctors can deliver the baby by C-section and then try to save both lives.
It's a false dichotomy to argue that there is a scenario where, in order to save the life of the mother, the child must be murdered. Don't play me for a fool. This is absurd.
Allowing abortion in the case of rape suggests that murder is the solution to rape, and that clearly isn’t true.
A woman who has been raped does not experience less trauma if she kills her child. An abortion doesn't erase the evil she was subjected to. It adds new, unnecessary trauma, and it will only make her path to recovery infinitely harder. We shouldn't be encouraging her to do that.
Abortion is murder. Plain and simple.
Yes, the evil abortionist doctors are to blame. And so are the morally bankrupt parents and teachers and journalists who present abortion as something it is not.
The church has also failed us here, hiding behind pro-life policies that don't criminalize this barbaric evil.
There is forgiveness in Christ for those who have had abortions in the past.
But justice requires that we defend the life of the unborn and hold accountable those who kill their babies.
There is a better path today: stop all abortions for the sake of the unborn child and the mother. Both will thank us one day.
A Listener Asks: Are Californians Moving to Texas to Turn It Blue?
I got this message from a listener named Ronald through the website, and I'd like to respond to it here.
"It appears that we were wrong about the California residents fleeing from their home state to move to Texas. Their intent was not to leave California. It appears to me their intent was to expand California's borders to include Texas."
Ronald thinks the migration away from places like the People's Republic of California is a deliberate plan by the Radical Left to make the states they're fleeing to Democrat strongholds.
It's a thoughtful question, and Ronald is right about one thing: Democrats and leftists will do whatever they must to advance their political religion. They worship government and the political power it provides.
It reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where Jerry wants to help Newman get relocated to Hawaii. Jerry told Newman, "I'll do whatever it takes, as long as it takes me, so long as it takes you away from me." Jerry meant it, but so do Democrats today.
So I wouldn't put a plan like this past them.
But pulling it off is another matter. Many leftists couldn't stomach living in a state run by Republicans, let alone conservative Republicans. And Texas is a really big state. Turning it blue on purpose would take an enormous number of committed leftists all moving there for the same reason.
Ronald understands exactly who the Radical Left is. I just don't believe they have the ability to strategically pull off something this big.
Not yet, anyway.

Today's Poll
Democrats took both the House and the Senate last night, and Republicans lost ground in races across the country. What was the biggest reason?
