An Indiana Democrat Said She'd "Fire All Republicans," Then Ended With "We Have Guns Too."
My friends, this is an absolute gem.
Jaime West is the Democratic candidate for Fayette County Council, District 4, here in Indiana — a county where I have relatives, by the way.
At a candidate forum, she was asked to name an unpopular position she holds that she believes would help the residents of Fayette County.
Her answer: she would "fire all Republicans." She said she doesn't even talk to them. She said she doesn't like them.
She reluctantly agreed that "there are good Republicans out there," and then added that "there's these MAGAs who are just racist and aren't very intelligent at all."
She said ICE was coming into communities and stealing people's jobs — whatever that means.
Once she made that profound point, she added an "ARRRRR!" Not sure if she identifies as a pirate or what.
She then claimed the sheriff's nephew threatened to "blow my head off," but added, "but what'cha gonna do?" (The Fayette County sheriff told Fox News Digital he has five nieces and zero nephews.)
And if all this wasn't good enough, her final closing remarks to voters were, "We have guns too."
This absolutely felt like a Saturday Night Live skit, back when it was actually funny.
But you want to know something? I hear the same nonsense whenever I hear any Democrat politician being interviewed. They all say basically the same thing. They're just more polished about it.
The average Democrat candidate won’t make quite as many strange facial expressions. And most of them don’t feel the need to channel their inner pirate. All-in-all, they conceal their craziness a little bit better for the camera.
But it's still there.
So I hope this clip gives you a little chuckle. It certainly has for me.
But once when you're finished laughing, remember that all the nonsense these folks are out there pushing is far from funny. As Rush used to say, when they are out of power, it's funny. But when they're in power, it's terrifying.
I hope enough of us remember that during this very important midterm election.
Here's to keeping these lunatics out of power in 2026.

A House Democrat Just Introduced a Bill to Abolish ICE, Border Patrol and the Department of Homeland Security
Illinois Democrat Representative Delia Ramirez has introduced legislation in the House of Representatives to dismantle ICE and Border Patrol.
She is also seeking to dismantle the Department of Homeland Security, which was created in response to 9/11, and replace it with a Department of Community Safety.
It's called the Reimagining Safety Act and Ramirez introduced it Tuesday, with Rashida Tlaib, Adelita Grijalva and Jim McGovern as original cosponsors. FEMA, TSA and the federal cybersecurity agency would survive. But ICE and Customs and Border Protection would be on the chopping block.
I can only imagine how much this proposed legislation has caused terrorists around the world to start shaking in their boots.
After all, their operations surely would be no match for a chatroom full of Facebook moderator-types and keyboard warriors ensuring the safety of the community — whoever that may include.
The Democrat Party is an absolute joke. They are not serious, strong, effective, or even remotely reasonable.
In fact, they are downright dangerous.
I don't believe we should have a Department of Homeland Security. But that doesn't mean I dismiss what it does. Instead, I think this work should simply be shifted under the umbrella of another department, like the Department of Defense.
But if my choices were to keep DHS or replace it with a bunch of liberal women tasked with keeping everyone safe, I could come to a firm and final decision in less than a second.
Unserious people with unserious solutions (aka, Democrats in 2026) must be defeated every single time they run for office.
But we can’t stop there. We also need to make sure that society stops producing the type of people required to support these nuts, too. That’s the root of the problem — and it runs deep.
That’s precisely what we’re fighting here each and every day. Thanks for fighting alongside us.

Today's Toddcast
PBS NewsHour called the questions about James Talarico's two-week disappearance from the Texas Senate campaign trail "conspiracy theories" and "clear misinformation, disinformation." We discuss on the Toddcast.
I also read the actual definitions of misinformation and disinformation out loud, walk through The Federalist's look at Talarico’s flu timeline, and get into why focusing on how something appears instead of simply being authentic is what gets politicians into trouble.
Here's a clip from today's Toddcast:

RedState — the Fayette County sheriff's response to the threat claim, which my clip didn't have.
