Mamdani Told Theo Von That Socialism Means You Get Whatever You Need to Live a Dignified Life

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani sat down with podcaster Theo Von, and Von asked him to define socialism, admitting he didn't really know what it meant.

Mamdani's answer: "Socialism, to me, it means that you will have whatever you need to live a dignified life and that it is the government's job to deliver on that, right?"

First of all, the postmodernists running around on the political left need to understand that you don't use the phrase "to me" when defining something.

As Rush Limbaugh used to say, "Words mean things."

The left runs from definitions because definitions are objective. If they aren't, what's the point of communication?

A speaker has an idea in his mind, so he chooses a word designed to carry that meaning to the ears of the other person. He's counting on the listener understanding what that word means. Then the listener processes the information he's trying to convey.

But the left hates this, because definitions presuppose objectivity. Words exclude things that don't meet their definition. And since the left is full of moral relativists, they can’t make any sense of the world we live in.

This is why they can't define terms like "woman." It's all just a silly game designed to avoid reality so that they can excuse their morally depraved behavior and embrace beliefs that are in open rebellion against truth.

But even if we look past that fundamental flaw in their worldview, we're still left with a major problem: the role of government is not what Mamdani told Theo Von.

The role of government is to secure our God-given rights. To protect us from threats, foreign and domestic. Its role is to create law and order so that people can exercise their rights freely.

It's not to make sure we live with dignity and have everything required for it.

That's our job. It's the job of the free market, and of our communities — not through government force, but by individual free will. And no one is under compulsion to provide anything to us.

In fact, this is the language communists far too often use to politically hypnotize the masses into falling at the altar of big government. And by the time the unsuspecting realize this garbage only ensures their doom, it's too late.

Don't fall for Mamdani's lies, my friends. And do everything in your power to make sure others don't fall for them either.

It's a siren song that promises utopia but delivers only misery.

Al-Qaeda Is Praising the FlyDubai Co-Pilot Who Tried to Crash a Flight to Israel

The FlyDubai co-pilot was a terrorist. And now he's being praised by al-Qaeda losers as an example for other godless, lunatic jihadis to emulate.

Hamam al-Hammami's attempt to bring down a FlyDubai flight to Tel Aviv last week was stopped by heroes.

Captain Smit Machchhar, after being violently attacked by al-Hammami with the cockpit's crash axe, managed to open the cockpit door so passengers could storm the cockpit and regain control of the aircraft.

They are all heroes who stopped a madman and a villain.

Fortunately, two other pilots were aboard, and they were able to miraculously land the plane in Saudi Arabia, even though a huge part of its rudder had been torn away during the attempted crash.

Al-Hammami reportedly wanted to crash the plane in Israel, into the terminal at Ben Gurion Airport.

But thankfully, he failed.

And all of this came within a few weeks of the 25th anniversary of 9/11.

Whether the Radical Left wants to admit it or not, radical jihadists are at war with anyone who isn't a Muslim. Deny it all you want, but we're already in a "holy war" being waged by radical Islamofascists. And we have been for more than a quarter century.

Ignoring this reality isn't noble. It's stupid — and it's dangerous.

This is exactly why we should never forget what happened on 9/11 and why it was done, regardless of what the media and the politically correct try to tell us today.

Quote of the Day

❝

The moment the idea is admitted into society that property is not as sacred as the laws of God, and that there is not a force of law and public justice to protect it, anarchy and tyranny commence.
