PragerU posted a clip a couple of weeks ago of a young woman talking into her phone, telling the internet what she found out about one of her co-workers.

She said that she had learned that one of the men in her office is — brace for it — a conservative.

Here is how she described him. He is “really intelligent.” He is “somebody who works in climate tech.” A “super smart guy,” someone she “would never have thought was conservative.”

As you undoubtedly know, my friends, conservatives are very thoughtful and intelligent people. So this doesn't surprise you.

However, it did surprise the young bleeding-heart liberal in this story. As she said herself, “It's surprising. And it's disgusting.”

Then she confessed to what many of us already suspected: “What's most surprising to me is the level of sudden hatred that I have for him.”

Prior to knowing he was a conservative, she said she respected the man. Then it went boop, as she so articulately put it, and now she hates him.

And not surprisingly, she cannot really tell you why.

She never named a single policy or belief of conservatism.

She never specified her problem with what it means to be a conservative.

She simply found out which side of this cold civil war he is on, and the hatred immediately manifested itself inside her heart.

And it surprised her — the level of hatred that she had for this innocent man.

I can guess what she thinks people like her co-worker and I believe.

She believes we're racist, chauvinist, misogynists who want women barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen and completely silent when we walk in the room.

That is the caricature. And a lot of these folks have never met anything besides the cartoon, which of course is fueled by the narrative of the godless Radical Left.

Here's what she would probably find if she ever dared to ask him to explain what it meant to be a conservative. He would likely tell her that he believes in liberty. We believe everyone — including this bleeding-heart liberal — ought to be able to make her own choices without being coerced or forced by the government, including choices he would never personally make.

I will defend your freedom to do things I believe are morally wrong, up until the point it crosses the line where it directly impacts someone's life, liberty, property, or pursuit of happiness.

But this young lady cannot reconcile that with the cartoon. She doesn't even appear to try.

There's a long line of people who behave like this. And dare I say that they are major contributors to the mess our society is in today.

It's been said that the sign of an educated mind is being able to entertain an idea without accepting it.

We ought, my friends, to be able to explain what the other side actually thinks. Not the straw man. The real thing, accurately depicted.

I can do that for the Radical Left. I know what they believe. I have read it, listened to it, and argued with it for eleven years on this program — and for a good chunk of my life inside classrooms run by these radically deranged leftists.

Chances are good that you can articulate their beliefs much better than they can articulate yours. Most of them have never once tried to do that.

But I don't want to pick on some random girl on the internet. This is common and status quo for the Radical Left.

The Democratic Socialists of America put their program into writing on their own website. They tell us they want to draft a new constitution. They want to abolish the Senate, abolish the Electoral College, and put the President and the Supreme Court underneath Congress.

Hasan Piker, the radically extreme streamer with an enormous young audience, said he would wipe himself with the Constitution. That's the edited version, of course, my friends. These folks can't seem to complete a sentence without including something vulgar and vile.

But I do give them this much. They understand the Constitution is standing in their way.

They know that it has to go in order for them to get what they want.

Now let me be fair about the young people out there who have been attracted to socialism, because I do not think all of them are lazy, selfish, and corrupted.

Some of them are looking at houses they cannot afford, a degree that costs a small fortune, and a paycheck that buys much less than it did six years ago.

They are not wrong in concluding that the load is heavy.

But they are wrong about why.

College costs what it costs because the government made sure every kid in America could borrow whatever the school decided to charge. The problem is that, when the money is guaranteed, there is nothing left to hold prices down.

And the inflation we lived through under the Biden administration did not reverse itself when inflation rates came back down. Slowing how fast inflation climbs does not reverse the impacts that major inflationary years have placed upon this economy.

The inflation during the Biden administration simply set the baseline for where future inflation would begin.

So these young people look at all of this, as they listen to these radical voices online, and they choose to blame capitalism. They blame the one system that ever provided an avenue for ordinary people to escape poverty and improve their socioeconomic class.

And what they're clamoring for actually will produce a much heavier burden on them for the remainder of their lives.

The Declaration of Independence and our Constitution are two of the greatest man-made works in the history of the world.

They gave us a framework upon which to build the greatest nation in the history of the world.

Instead of focusing on what socialists focus on, which is taking the property of someone else to provide the things that they personally want, we ought to be looking for ways to build upon those documents, helping people to be even freer and more prosperous.

But she doesn't understand that, my friends. At least not yet.

That's why it's important that we continue to spread conservative truth.

In a conservative, not bitter way, of course.

She could not name one thing her co-worker believes. She just knew she hated him for it.

The Atlantic hurricane season has done something it has never done in the modern record.

As of September 12th, not one hurricane had formed in the Atlantic Ocean. Five tropical storms, yes. But not one of them reached hurricane status.

AccuWeather dates the satellite record to 1966, making this the first time in 60 years this has ever been the case. No Atlantic season on the books has gone this deep into September without a hurricane.

Now compare that with what the climate alarmists promised us.

In June of 2008, the night he clinched the nomination in St. Paul, Barack Obama told a crowd that this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal.

For decades now, we've been told that every serious storm is the planet judging us and crying out for the climate atrocities that Republicans have unleashed upon her.

And the same cast of clowns cites every weather event, including entire seasons, as proof of man-made climate change.

So if a bad hurricane season is evidence of climate change, what is a season with no hurricanes halfway through September?

The answer we are given, my friends, will be that this is weather. And weather and climate are not the same thing.

Fine. Then quit pointing at the weather when the weather suits your argument.

But some will probably tell us that, even though this outcome is the opposite of the apocalyptic predictions they told us to expect, this is still evidence of manmade climate change. Of course it is!

The meteorologists have an actual explanation for this, and it is not complicated. They point to a strengthening El Niño, which tends to tear storms apart before they can organize into anything serious.

Hurricane season runs through November, and there is certainly a chance that we could see one or many storms between now and then.

But even if that happens, one bad stretch of weather does not undermine anything that I'm saying here.

The conclusion we should all draw is simple.

When evidence supports the left’s dire predictions on climate change, it gets presented as the gospel truth and a warning for all to heed. When evidence contradicts their narrative and position, there's always an explanation.

They can believe what they will, my friends, but they should at least arrive at the conclusion with some intellectual integrity.

Today's clip is the Democratic Socialists of America saying it out loud, on camera. The Constitution is the one thing standing between the country we have and the country they want, and they're done being coy about it.
