My friends, thank you for your patience and grace.

Last week, I was miserable. I mean, truly miserable.

I felt horrible Thursday and Friday. I probably slept more than 30 hours over those two days. And that’s something I never do.

On Saturday, I was able to make it out of the house to watch my daughter's Sectional Championship soccer game. (Unfortunately, they lost 6-1.)

Late yesterday afternoon, I finally returned to normal.

I don't tell you that to complain — not at all. I tell you that to explain why you missed a couple of Inner Circle issues last week.

Today's is short, too. But God willing, I think we’re back on track!

Thank you for understanding.

Federal agents searched Rep. Ilhan Omar's Washington, DC, home yesterday with a search warrant signed by a judge. We discuss what we actually know on the Toddcast.

I also get into the age question that could put her citizenship in play, what Justice Antonin Scalia told the Senate about the separation of powers years ago, and why even some Democrats say James Talarico's flu story doesn't add up.

Here's a clip from today's Toddcast:

The Epoch Times — the piece I read from on air: what the DOJ, Tom Homan and Omar have said about the search.

The Epoch Times — new today: Vance says neither he nor the president knew about the warrant ahead of time.

New York Post — the age question, and what a former federal prosecutor says a signed warrant tells us.

C-SPAN — Justice Scalia's 2011 Senate testimony on why the separation of powers, not a bill of rights, is what protects our freedom. Prefer to read it? Here's the full transcript.

PJ Media — even Democrat strategists are questioning Talarico's flu story.

Prayer is a foundational pillar of our show. For years, a devoted team of three women — Lorie, Deb and Jeanie — met regularly with me to pray about our mission, our content and our reach.

As a member of The Inner Circle, you understand our mission is to help others hear and receive truth. And there is no greater truth than this: Jesus Christ came to take away the sins of the world.

America is in an all-out spiritual war. And if our nation is to have any hope, she must return to Jesus.

If you’re a follower of Jesus who believes in the power of prayer, and you care deeply about the lost and confused in modern America, I invite you to pray with us.

Just respond to this email with "Prayer" and we can get you next steps.

And if you’re not a follower of Jesus yet, but would like to learn more about Him, just respond to this email with “Jesus” and we reach back out with more information about Him, too. (There’s nothing that would satisfy my heart more.)

It’s in the upper 80s as I write this, but that’s going to change — soon.

It’s a great time to grab your very own long-sleeve tee is from The Todd Huff Show store.
