My friends, the WNBA had a task force meeting this week. Presidents, general managers, all the people who actually run the league, sitting around a table trying to answer one question. What is a woman? Not surprisingly, these “experts” left empty-handed.

Any newborn baby could answer it, if only they could talk.

This story may be about basketball, but it’s bigger than basketball. As you know, two former NBA players, Enes Kanter Freedom and Royce White, declared themselves eligible for next year's WNBA draft. Big, strong, physical men. They're not doing this because they actually believe they are women. They're doing it to expose a problem the league has created for itself. It never actually defined who's allowed to play in a women's league. Oops.

So to combat these draft declarations, the WNBA convened a special task force, composed of the best and brightest among us — the “experts”, if you will. After the meeting, the WNBA issued a statement:

"There are no immediate eligibility matters affecting the WNBA and we strongly denounce the bad faith efforts to use these topics to demean or marginalize others."

Somehow, my friends, the WNBA — wizards of smart, as Rush Limbaugh would call them — can identify bad faith actors. They can denounce people who expose the lunacy of the league. They can even spot a fake trans athlete. But they still can't tell you what a real woman is! That's not sophistication. That's a laughable, self-defeating principle.

That's not an oversight after thirty years. That's a choice. The moment you define the term, the ideology of the leftists running the WNBA collapses, because it's directly opposed to truth. When an institution refuses to define the term central to its own existence, the entire enterprise becomes a house of cards.

The truth is, the definition of a woman isn't complicated. It's just inconvenient — inconvenient to the ideology of the Radical Left.

You may recall Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson telling a Senate committee she couldn't define "woman" because she wasn't a biologist.

My friends, you don't need a biology degree. You need the awareness of a newborn baby, and the courage to say the truth out loud, even when it costs you.

So I'm glad Enes Kanter Freedom and Royce White are forcing this fight into the open. Sometimes the best thing you can do is hold up a mirror and let the other side's own delusion do the talking.

Truth doesn't need a task force. It just needs people willing to accept it and say it.

While the WNBA can't define basic terms, Congress still hasn't settled its own fundamental problem.

What are they actually going to do to protect the integrity of our federal elections?

The SAVE America Act would require documentary proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote in federal elections, and mandate photo ID at the polls, with real enforcement behind it.

It's passed the House twice now, most recently in February.

But it's still stuck in the Senate, where Republican leaders say they don't have the sixty votes necessary to overcome the filibuster. There are things they could still do to force the issue, but they're simply not willing to do it.

As of today, prediction markets put its odds of becoming law this year at somewhere around five percent. And even that might be generous now that the Senate has taken its August recess.

While Washington stalls, some states haven't waited around. They've either advanced or passed their own state version of the SAVE America Act.

Unfortunately, the states that need it most, the states with the deepest corruption and the bluest leadership, have ignored the problem entirely.

Maybe James O'Keefe's undercover investigation in Michigan will change some minds. His team's footage allegedly shows non-citizens registered to vote, and able to cast a ballot in a Michigan primary with almost no verification at the polls. Read about the investigation.

The people who insist there's nothing wrong with how we run our elections are broken into 2 groups. The first group knows there is a problem but isn’t willing to admit it because they understand they politically benefit from it. The second group simply has no idea of the vulnerabilities and corruption that have actually been exposed in the system.

The good news is that, between deportations of illegal aliens, cleaning up the voter rolls, tightening election security, and population shifts away from blue states and into red ones, Republicans could be in a very strong position to win elections, both now and for years to come.

But so long as we ignore election vulnerabilities nationwide, the opportunity for corruption and outright fraud exist.

That’s why it’s important for us to hold these wimpy Republicans accountable and make sure they actually fight for the issues that need to be addressed today.
