The WNBA Says Enes Kanter Freedom and Royce White Are Men. Now It Needs to Tell Us Why.
Well, the WNBA seems to have figured out that Enes Kanter Freedom and Royce White are both men. And because of that, they are ineligible to play in the WNBA.
First of all, I’d like to congratulate the WNBA for figuring this out. Kudos for accepting the obvious.
In an October 16 letter to several House Republicans, including Representative Marlin Stutzman of Indiana, WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert wrote that "only women are eligible to play in the WNBA, and the individuals you cite in your letter are both men."
In a sane world, this obvious statement would not have needed to be made.
Unfortunately, the WNBA not only needs to say this, but they also need to define what a woman is so as to stop the continued transgender nonsense in women’s sports.
But they won't. Why? Because that would infuriate the leftists in the media, in their fan base, and even those running this disaster of a league.
As any newborn knows, there are biological differences between men and women. It isn't confusing — and all of nature understands.
Definitionally, a woman is an adult human female — plain and simple.
The WNBA, which ironically stands for the Women's National Basketball Association, literally cannot define what their name means. Let the stupidity of that sink in for a moment.
Imagine being a mechanic and not being able to tell your customer what a car is.
Or being an author incapable of explaining what a book is.
Or a pediatrician having difficulty explaining what a child is.
You wouldn't work with people like that — and you shouldn't.
But for some reason, some people have come to accept it from the woke WNBA.
Yet somehow, in spite of all the confusion of those running the WNBA — presumably because they are not a league run by biologists — they somehow figured out Enes Kanter Freedom and Royce White are not women. In fact, they're men.
Circle gets the square.
Now, it should be easy to define why. And the league should put this definition in their collective bargaining agreement and all of their official league paperwork.
Before you say that's unnecessary, consider the following:
In June 2021, the WNBA announced that "LGBTQ+ advocacy with a focus on trans rights" was one of three priorities of its Social Justice Council. Engelbert said the league wanted to voice its support of the trans community.
That same month, the league's official X account celebrated two transgender high school runners, Andraya Yearwood and Terry Miller, and said it supported "all of the other trans athletes."
In October 2021, the WNBA players' union signed onto a court brief supporting transgender girls' participation in school sports.
Kudos, WNBA, for figuring out Enes Kanter Freedom and Royce White are not women.
Now tell us why and add this language to your CBA and organizational paperwork, permanently and officially.
And if you don't, I hope these two men sue you into oblivion — because if you can't tell us why they aren't women, you are openly discriminating against them. And I hope you pay dearly if you don't make it official — and legal.

A Portland Football Player Was Leveled While Carrying the American Flag Onto the Field
In some dark, sad corners of America, it's cool to hate this country.
Fortunately, that's not how I was raised.
I was raised in the 1980s in flyover country and taught to love America. What's not to love? Freedom. Opportunity. The American Dream.
I stand for the national anthem, whether at the sports venue, at a public restaurant, or in my own home as I prepare to watch a game.
I love my country — and while I understand she isn't perfect, she is in fact a shining city on a hill and the greatest place on earth to call home. I am grateful that I can call myself an American.
So it would seem to follow that “Teenage Todd” would have been unable to understand what happened moments before a high school football game in Portland, Oregon, last Friday.
A Grant High School football player ran onto the field for a game against Jefferson High School. He was carrying an American flag. And a player on the opposing team ran up to him and blindsided him as he did so.
In other words, he stinking leveled him with a cheap shot.
Anyone watching would immediately wonder if the player was targeted because he was carrying an American flag.
Instagram posts tied to Jefferson — now deleted, and reportedly not from an official school account — seemed to blame the incident on disrespect toward Jefferson by Grant players. One alleged that the player carrying the flag could've gone around the field, but didn't.
But since then, the school has been mum on the incident.
Candidly, it wouldn't surprise me if a player targeted an opponent for carrying the American flag on the field. In an era of professional athletes kneeling or leaving the court during the national anthem, what do we expect?
Add to that the anti-American rhetoric many Americans — including students — are subjected to on a regular basis by America-haters, and it's not a far leap to see why someone would do this.
We reap what we sow, my friends. And after decades of anti-American hatred running lunatic cities like Portland, Seattle, and San Francisco — just to name a few — maybe we should ask ourselves why things like this don't happen more often than they do.

Quote of the Day
So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
Today's Poll
The WNBA told Congress that Enes Kanter Freedom and Royce White are men, but it still hasn't said what makes someone a woman. Should the league write a definition of "woman" into its collective bargaining agreement?
